Hey there,
Beautiful Spul.
I'm Treva.
A Faith-Based Family Nurse Practitioner with a heart to serve, body, soul, and spirit. Meeting every person exactly where they are and walking alongside them toward the wholeness God designed.
I have had a heart to serve for as long as I can remember. Twenty three years in and nursing still does not feel like work to me. It feels like purpose. It feels like calling. It feels like exactly what I was made for.
Called to Restore™ is where that calling found its fullest expression, right at the intersection of healthcare and ministry. Where the clinical and the spiritual finally occupy the same room. Where we get to see beyond the diagnosis and serve the whole person, body, soul, and spirit.
This is not just what I do. This is who I am.
Treva Mitchell is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 23 years of nursing experience. A proud graduate of Southern University A&M College and Prairie View A&M University, two institutions that shaped her clinical excellence and deepened her commitment to whole-person care.

The Heart Behind the Healing
Where Healthcare
Meets Ministry
I was perfectly content as a Registered Nurse. I loved the work, I loved the patients, and I was good at what I did. But somewhere in the quiet, God was stirring something in me. A desire to do more. To go deeper. As the vision continues to unfold, I desire to be obedient and follow.
So I went back to school. And when I stepped into the clinic setting as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I finally saw what I could not see from the hospital floor.
Thirty to forty patients in eight to ten hours. Double booked. Sometimes three patients in a room at the same time. It felt like herding cattle, and I say that with love because I was one of the cowgirls. I watched patient after patient leave with that deer in the headlights look, nodding along to information they would not remember by the time they reached their car.
But it was not just the chaos that got my attention. It was what I saw beneath it.
Many of us love God deeply. We pray. We believe. But somewhere between Sunday morning and Monday's choices, the connection between our faith and our daily health gets lost. We cry out to Him for healing, and He is faithful. But wellness requires partnership. Do we trust Him enough to let Him into our habits, our patterns, and the behaviors that are quietly working against everything we are praying for?
I wanted to slow down. I wanted to sit with them. But the system was not built for that.
Real healthcare is proactive, not reactive. It empowers patients to understand their own bodies, advocate for themselves, and partner with God in their own wellness. Called to Restore™ is not here to replace your doctor or your therapist or your pastor. It is here to be the bridge: between your diagnosis and your understanding, between your soul wounds and your healing, between the life you are living and the wholeness God designed you for.
Called to Restore™ is where healthcare meets ministry. It is the space where your diagnosis and soul wounds are seen, honored, and addressed. Where the God who designed you is invited back into every part of your healing, not as an afterthought but as the foundation.
How This Works
Every person who comes through Called to Restore™ moves through the same three movements, simple, real, and life changing.
01 See It
Get honest about what is really going on. In your body. In your habits. In your spirit. No more pushing through, no more pretending. The first step is just telling the truth about where you actually are.
02 Shift It
Make changes that actually move the needle. Not a perfect overhaul. Not a 30 day reset that crashes by day four. Real sustainable shifts with clinical knowledge, spiritual grounding, and grace for the whole process.
03 Step Into It
Walk into what was always possible for you. Not someday. Not when everything is perfect. Now, one real step at a time. Into the health, clarity, and purpose that God designed specifically for you.
How We Walk This Out
This work isn't about doing more — it's about doing things differently. We walk alongside you as you begin to slow down, reconnect with God, and make simple intentional changes that support true healing — spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Whether through community, guided devotionals, group coaching, or shared moments of reflection, our goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and safe enough to grow.
